Ruaidhri Mannion is an Irish composer and sonic artist living in London. He is a Royal College of Music Scholar, completing his doctorate under the supervision of Dr.

Bernadette Marmion was born and educated in Dublin. She studied piano with Rhona Marshall and composition with A. J. Potter at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Belfast-born Neil Martin is a composer and musician with an international reputation who enjoys a most varied and rewarding career.

Pianist and composer Philip Martin was born in Dublin and studied with Mabel Swainson, Franz Reizenstein, Lennox Berkeley and Richard Rodney Bennett.

Óscar Mascareñas is a composer, poet, voice artist, filmmaker, performer and musicologist.

Born in 1936, Colin Mawby is widely known as a choral conductor and composer.

Simon Mawhinney was born in Co. Down, Northern Ireland and was educated at the universities of Oxford, York and Queen’s, Belfast, where he was appointed Lecturer in Music in June 2006.

Frederick May was born in Dublin and began his studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music with John Larchet.

Mary McAuliffe was born in Cork and studied music at University College Cork.  Her works, which include instrumental, vocal, choral, children’s music, film soundtracks and opera, are performed and

Studied at the National College of Art and Design. Currently lectures in sound art and listening as part of the MA in Experimental Sound Practice Music Dept.

Each composer's page provides a photo, a biography, most recent works added to CMC's collection and other information. You can also purchase CDs and scores by each composer, access features about the composers, or view any upcoming events which include their music.

An Irish composer is defined as anyone who was born or is permanently resident in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
