Eduard Zatriqi
(b. 1987)Born in Belfast, Eduard Zatriqi earned a BMus with first class honours (2009), and an MA and PhD in Music Composition (2010 and 2015, respectively) from Queen's University Belfast.
Patrick Zuk
(b. 1968)Patrick Zuk was born in 1968. His mother is Irish and his father is Polish. After early studies at the piano he studied composition with the late Professor Aloys Fleischmann.

An Irish composer is defined as anyone who was born or is permanently resident in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
