Philip Hammond
(b. 1951)Philip Hammond graduated from Queen's University, Belfast, in 1974 with the degrees of BMus and MA. In 2003, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Music by Queen's.

An Irish composer is defined as anyone who was born or is permanently resident in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
