'Site Of Sound' in aid of Cloyne Cathedral wall restoration fund

Saturday 28 September from 2-5pm - a "come and go as you please" event. This is an afternoon concert with a difference in aid of Cloyne Cathedral wall restoration fund.

A 'Site Of Sound' event which previously toured to various churches in East Cork returns to the Cathedral after their previous very successful concert there.

Featuring free improvised music by some of the country’s leading improvisers and sound artists including The Quiet Club, The Cork Free Improvisation Orchestra, John Godfrey, Katie O’Looney, Harry Moore, Phil Maguire, Tony Langlois, Andy Ingamells, Robin Parmar, Mick O’Shea, Danny McCarthy and Irene Murphy. Also featured is The Inma Pavon Dance Company one of the leading contemporary dance companies in the country.

This is a "come and go as you please" event where the artists will explore the sonic possibilities of this amazing building and promise an afternoon like nothing you will have heard before. 

The event is supported by Cork County Council.

Tickets

Admission is 10 euro, pay in on the door. This fee will go towards the restoration fund.
