Cork Orchestral Society presents Cork Philharmonic Winds, conducted by Liam Daly and Robert O'Brien.
Cork Philharmonic Winds was founded by its conductor, Robert O’Brien, in 2012 to give Cork-based wind, brass and percussion players the opportunity to perform original music of the highest quality written for wind ensembles and band. For this concert, the ensemble welcomes guest conductor Liam Daly for a diverse programme featuring works and arrangements by Irish composers, including Fergal Carroll, Eibhlís Farrell, Declan Townsend, Vincent Kennedy, John C. Murphy and Robert O’Brien.
