CMC Launches Sixth Season of Sparky Conversations

CMC's online discussion series Sparky Conversations is back in September 2025.

Sparky Conversations are artist-led, community discussions which aim to bring artists, composers and New Music practitioners together to explore big topics, dive deep and spark ideas.

This season of Sparky Conversations focuses on the relationship between artists' lived experiences and the music they create. 

How does our physical bodies, our mental health, our financial wellbeing, and our personal identities impact on, feed into or emerge from the music we create? How do we build creative resilience in the face of challenges? We will explore how community and care emerges where our lives and work intersect.

The season begins on Friday 19 September with a conversation led by violinist Jane Hackett. More details to follow soon at CMC Events and on CMC's social media @CMCIreland.
