Festive Choral Music Talk & Eibhlís Farrell Carol Collection Launch
Contemporary Music Centre

CMC Scholar-in-Residence Laura Sheils presents festive works by composers from Ireland, followed by the launch of Eibhlís Farrell's Carols.
TALK: Winter & Festive Highlights | 6 - 6.45PM (Free, registration required on Eventbrite)
For the last talk in our current series, Laura will focus on Christmas carols and winter-themed texts by Irish composers such as Rhona Clarke, Seán Doherty, and Eoin Mulvany.
Laura will explore the variety of ways in which these composers reimagine ancient texts and Medieval carols for a contemporary audience, spotlighting specific compositional techniques, illustrated with score and audio examples.
