West Wicklow Festival 2025: Ruth Gibson & Fiachra Garvey

Ruth Gibson, principal viola of the world-renowned Aurora Orchestra, and pianist Fiachra Garvey have been collaborators for over 20 years. In this special reunion, they will perform a programme of masterpieces and hidden gems, blending timeless favourites with lesser-known treasures. Highlights include Rebecca Clarke’s and Franck’s monumental Sonatas, alongside the stunning Phantasy by pioneering Wicklow composer Ina Boyle. Works by Brahms and Kodály further enrich this captivating programme, making it a perfect start to the festival. Don't miss it!
