This is the eleventh album of test pieces for the Dublin International Piano Competition published by the Contemporary Music Centre. Commissioned by RTÉ Lyric FM for the 2025 competition, the pieces are by Irish composers David Coonan, Roger Doyle, Ailís Ní Ríain, and Judith RIng.
Ina Boyle Selected Songs, edited by Dr Orla Shannon and David Scott, contains 26 songs and commentaries ranging from 1909 to 1966. They were only available hitherto in manuscript and were preserved in the Manuscripts and Archives Research Library of Trinity College Dublin.
Raymond Deane’s Seachanges (with Danse Macabre) is the first work in his Macabre Trilogy. Together with Catacombs (1994) and Marche Oubliée (1996), the three pieces deal lightheartedly with the theme of death.
