An interplay between words and music brought to life by the voice of poet Dermot Healy and the musicians of Concorde. Twelve of Healy’s poems from ‘The Reed Bed’ are set to music by composer Bill Campbell.

The contemporary music group Lontano and their conductor Odaline de la Martinez perform works by Northern Ireland composers Stephen Gardner, Kevin O’Connell, Simon Mawhinney, Elaine Agnew and Michael Alcorn on this CD funded by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

A collaboration between poet Macdara Woods and composer Benjamin Dwyer, this CD is a compilation of readings and compositions by both artists. Dwyer performs on guitar with Susan Doyle (flute), Kenneth Edge (saxophone) and Richard O’Donnell (percussion).

‘Under No Circumstances’ was written for the University of Dublin Choral Society on the occasion of their 150th anniversary. With a libretto based on the minutes of the society's committee and on press reports from the first fifty years of the society's existence, this light-hearted work features soloists Eugene O'Hagan and Philip O'Reilly, Barra Boydell as narrator, the University of Dublin Choral Society and Dublin Sinfonia with conductor Bernie Sherlock.
