Explore Concorde40, an online exhibition that documents the history of one of Ireland's seminal contemporary music ensembles, Concorde.

Concorde Ensemble was founded to fill a gap in new music making in Ireland, and was the first specialist new music ensemble to be founded in Ireland. Concorde 40, an exhibition of Concorde ephemera and programmes was curated celebrate this anniversary. NUI Maynooth MA Digital Humanities student Richard Breen put together this online exhibition. Explore works by Jane O’Leary, composer and one of the founding members of Concorde here and listen to samples from Jane’s most recent CD release The Passing Sound of Forever, featuring Concorde Ensemble, ConTempo and a host of leading instrumentalists.

Visit CMC Library on 19 Fishamble Street to view scores and ephemera, and to listen to archival recordings of past Concorde performances dating back to their first concerts in 1976.
