Concorde’s second ‘Up Close with Music’ event takes place on 23 February

The programme includes the premiere of a new work by NUI Maynooth lecturer Ryan Molloy and Scottish composer Katrina Burton, alongside works by Ian Wilson, Rhona Clarke and Alyson Barber.

Ryan Molloy's Seisiún is a commission from Concorde and is described by the composer as, "a personal reflection on the wonderful institution of the traditional Irish session."

Also featured are two works by Polish composer Maciej Zielinski and Turkar Gasimzada from Azerbaijan following an international call for scores.

The event is in the RHA Gallery, Ely Place, Dublin 2 at 2.30 & 3.45 pm on 23 February. Admission is free.
