Music Network presents Yukine Kuroki (piano) featuring a new work by Dr Fergus Johnston (TOUR)

Music Network presents a series of intimate performances by Yukine Kuroki featuring the world premiere of "Port na bPúcaí" a Music Network commission from CMC Composer Fergus Johnston and works by Liszt, Debussy, Stravinsky and Rachmaninoff at venues across the country.

Yukine Kuroki is a phenomenal pianist who has quickly risen to international acclaim. Yukine was winner of both the Liszt Utrecht and Dublin International Piano Competitions in 2022, and her artistry has enchanted audiences worldwide.

Starting piano at just 3 years old and performing with her first orchestra at the age of 7, Yukine has been conquering hearts ever since, gracing stages with prestigious orchestras across the world. Her 2024/2025 season features eagerly awaited debuts at Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall and the Verbier Festival among others.

Join CMC composer Dr Fergus Johnston as part of the concerts at Freemason Hall on Wednesday 12th March & Sunday 16th March at Thomastown Concert Hall. Fergus will offer insight into his compositional process and share the inspiration behind his new commission written especially for our March tour.
