New Music Dublin: Choral Sketches Open Workshop
Kevin Barry Recital Room, National Concert Hall

Performers: Chamber Choir Ireland with Sofi Jeannin—Guest Conductor.
Participant composers of the Choral Sketches 2023 programme - Timothy Ethan Doyle, Brian Keegan and Conor McGlone bring their new ideas, or Choral Sketches, to an open workshop with Chamber Choir Ireland and conductor Sofi Jeannin.
The purpose of Choral Sketches is to provide a creative and open environment for composers to deepen their experience in writing for choir. It offers a collegial atmosphere for selected composers to learn from their composer mentor Rhona Clarke and their peers, as well as performers. As part of New Music Dublin, audiences are welcomed in to witness the early stages of the compositional process.
Choral Sketches is delivered by the Contemporary Music Centre in partnership with Chamber Choir Ireland.
