Our Bloomsday Programme presents Irish ballads and harp solos from the time of James Joyce arranged by Seoirse Bodley and Anne-Marie O'Farrell and readings from Ulysses in both English and German. The contemporary work ‘Smiling Like That…’ by the renowned Irish composer, Rhona Clarke, is a setting of Molly Bloom’s monologue (for voice and electronics) at the end of the novel. It was composed for Aylish Kerrigan and commissioned by the Finglas Arts Council, Dublin.
