Two new works by Ian Wilson will be premiered in Sligo in July.

The world premiere of two new pieces by Ian Wilson will be presented by Mohamed Assani (sitar and tabla) and the Callino Quartet as part of Sligo's Cairde Festival.
The sun fell softly for sitar and string quartet and heaven lay close for tablas and string quartet will be highlights in a World Music-flavoured programme which also includes Kevin Volans’ Hunting, gathering, Franghiz Ali-Zadeh’s Mugam Sayagi and Justinian Tamusuza’s Ekitundu Ekisooka.
