Ian Wilson has been appointed Associate Composer to the Ulster Orchestra.

Ian Wilson has been appointed as Associate Composer to the belfast-based Ulster Orchestra for a three-year term commencing on 1 August 2010.

Chief among a number of outcomes is a new 25-minute orchestral work, The seas, the stars, to commemorate the Titanic’s centenary year, as well as acknowledging the year of the Olympics in 2012.
