Sparky Conversations returns in October with a new season of New Music discussions

CMC's online community discussion series returns in October 2024 with a season of conversations focused on creative collaborations.

Sparky Conversations invites inspiring duos across disciplines, from composition, psychology, improvised music, sound art and theatre, to lead open and engaging discussions on the theme of collaboration.

The season will launch on Friday 4 October at the usual time of 12 noon, with a conversation led by musician Paul Roe and psychiatrist and author Jim Lucey, who discuss their work on collaboration as a force for change. Find out more and register. 

Later events will see artists including Izumi Kimura, Cora Venus Lunny and more, presenting their perspectives and approaches to creative collaborations.
