Sundays at Noon: Evlana Ensemble
Dublin City Gallery, The Hugh Lane

Sundays at Noon presents Evlana Ensemble.
This lunchtime concert celebrates musical storytelling from Judith Weir’s vivid King Harald’s Saga for solo soprano to Valerie Coleman’s vibrant Fanmi Imèn for flute and piano. Garrett Sholdice’s Three Lieder offer moments of quiet reflection, while Eleonor Sandresky’s Nor’easter captures the drama of shifting skies. John Buckley’s new work for soprano and flute brings a fresh voice to the programme, which concludes with George Crumb’s Apparition — a luminous meditation on memory and song.
