Featuring: Cór Linn; Cór na nÓg; Mary Amond O’Brien:  conductor Cór na nÓg ; Ciarán Kelly:  conductor Cór Linn; Carole O’Connor:  accompanist; Leinster String Quartet: Deirdre Reddy, Rachel Grimes violin ; Niamh Roche viola; Aoife Dennedy cello); Andreja Malír: harp.

The NCH Youth Choirs return for their seventh consecutive New Music Dublin performance, including two world premieres commissioned for the Festival.

This year’s programme has young people as its focus, encouraging them, and their audience, to be true to themselves in an ever-changing world. Seán Doherty and Marian Ingoldsby’s pieces are light in style, yet thoughtful, while both choirs combine for A Child of the Universe, a setting of the moving Desiderata text by Max Ehrmann—now almost 100 years old but as relevant today as ever.

Presented by New Music Dublin.
Sponsored by RTE/NCH/Arts Council Ireland.
