Fidelio Trio Winter Chamber Music Festival: Fauré Anniversary
Belvedere House, St. Patrick’s College
The 2024 Festival draws to a close with another premiere in the Irish first performance of Ailís Ní Ríain's Born unfixed to bend and break and leave behind, commissioned by Fidelio Trio and premiered in January at Dark Music Days, Iceland. We mark the 100th anniversary of Fauré’s death with his unique late piano trio and conclude with the timeless trio that is Schubert’s magnificent second Piano Trio in E flat major.
As part of the Fidelio Trio Winter Chamber Music Festival.
The Fidelio Trio Winter Chamber Music Festival is brought to you by GlasDrum in partnership with Music at DCU, with funding from the Arts Council Festivals Investment Scheme. The event is supported by RTÉ Supporting the Arts, and the Saturday lunchtime concert at the National Botanic Gardens by the Office of Public Works.
