ISCM World New Music Days 2024: Norðurglóð featuring work by Francis Heery

The Association of Faroese Composers / Felagið Føroysk Tónaskøld will proudly host the ISCM World New Music Days in the Faroe Islands 22nd to 30th of June 2024.
The festival will include concerts by Faroese and Nordic ensembles, informal ensembles and collaborations and soloists.
The music featured throughout this festival will include new and innovative works from across the international membership of the ISCM.
Performance by Norðurglóð (FO): Arnold Ludvig (bass), Leivur Thomsen (guitar), Jákup Tórgarð (piano), Heðin Z. Davidsen (guitar), Kristina T. Johansen (saxophone), Rógvi á Rógvu (drums).

Gerhard Praesent (Austria, b. 1957): B-Suite (2019) [11’] (individually submitted);
Frederik Croene (Belgium, b. 1973): Turin Horse (2021) [8’] (submitted by the ISCM Flemish Section);
Arnold Ludvig (Faroe Islands, b. 1968): Miles Beyond (1998), Port Of Thor (1996), Iceland (1993), and Desire (2011) [30’] (ISCM WNMD 2024 Host Selection).
