Public Meeting – Music Alliance Ireland and Music in Cork at Quiet Lights Festival

Music Alliance Ireland is a group of national music organisations and companies that came together to establish a collective voice for the music sector in Ireland.
The current steering group consists of representatives from the Contemporary Music Centre, Crash Ensemble, Diatribe Records, Improvised Music Company, Journal of Music, Kirkos Ensemble, Music Network and Trad Ireland/Traid Éireann.
Music Alliance Ireland invites musicians, composers and those involved in the music sector to a public meeting as part of Quiet Lights.
The Alliance is pleased to be at Quiet Lights to listen to the music community in Cork and learn how you can be represented and supported.
MAI member Nick Roth and Project Manager Neva Elliott will speak about the aims of the Alliance and the work undertaken so far.
This will be followed by an open discussion on current issues in the music sector in Ireland.
