An exciting day of Irish contemporary music performances culminates in the Crescent Festival Evening Concert featuring an array of music by Irish and Irish-based composers. The renowned Degani Piano Trio return to Crescent Festival to perform a beautiful selection of works showcasing the immense talent and rich output of this island’s composers including Rhona Clarke, Marian Ingoldsby, Philip Martin, John Buckley and Joan Trimble.
Emma Nash, described as “captivating” (Irish Times) and a soprano with an “exciting, individualised vocal colour” (Opera Today) will perform works by Ina Boyle, Andrew Synnott and Aloys Fleischmann accompanied by pianist Rebecca Warren. They will also premier a new work by Featured Composer 2021 Rhona Clarke commissioned especially for the occasion entitled “Everlasting Voices”.
