Moving on Music presents Night Music- a series of three chamber concerts in three incredible venues preceded by engaging pre-concert talks with performers and composers, supported by the Contemporary Music Centre.
Pre-concert talk 8.15pm, performance 9pm
Irish musician of Romanian origin, Alex Petcu has established himself as a percussionist of the finest calibre.
One of the few Irish percussionists to focus on solo and chamber music, Alex has recently won first prize at the Irish Freemasons Young Musician of the Year competition and reached the semi-finals at the Tromp International Percussion Competition, one of the most prestigious international percussion competitions.
For this concert Alex will be joined by his sister, and one of Ireland’s finest musicians, Ioana Petcu-Colan.
