Vincent Kennedy will conduct the second complete performance of his work Irishmen and Irishwomen on the eve of the 101st anniversary of the Easter Rising, with narrator Declan O'Brien and soprano soloist Aisling Kennedy.
Over 200 performers from Moate Community School Choir, Donegal Youth Orchestra, County Roscommon Youth Orchestra, Rathfarnham Concert Band and Moate Community School Orchestra perform this work in the Great Hall of Moate Community School.
The work has been commissioned by Roscommon County Council for Roscommon County Youth Orchestra with Moate Community School Orchestra to celebrate and remember 1916.
