I believe in engaging curiosity and imagination at the very earliest stages of learning, and exploring the unique and entrancing sound world of the piano, both to stimulate and to motivate.

June Armstrong is a piano teacher living and working in Belfast. She studied music at Queen’s University Belfast, graduating with a BMus in 1974 and an MA in composition and 20th century analysis in 1975. She holds an LTCL in piano (1993) and an ATCL in violin (1970).

June began composing piano music for her students in 2009, specialising in educational music. Her compositions range from complete beginner standard to diploma level. Much of the music is inspired by the landscape, seascape and the wildlife of Northern Ireland, as well as its historical heritage.
