Eoin Callery is an Irish artist and researcher creating music, sound art, and installations. He works with acoustic phenomena — in particular by developing virtual acoustic and other technologies — often embedding sounds or gestures into layers of automated live electronic processes, which offer unique timbral experiences to audiences. From 2017-2019 he lectured at CCRMA: the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics at Stanford University. He is currently an Associate Professor and the course director for the Composition and Creative Music Practice MA in The Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick.
