Tonal Composers Festival in Brasília - Call for Works

The TCF is proud to create an outlet for composers who embrace tonal procedures. While many new music festivals cultivate a space for atonal and highly experimental music, TCF invites tonal (and like-minded) composers to share their music in a friendly and respectful environment.  We believe tonal composition is a valid and diverse expression of contemporary music.  We would love to hear your works!

Audio and video recordings will be made available to all participants after the festival has ended. Composers will hear their music performed by the Orquestra Sinfônica do Teatro Nacional Claudio Santoro (National Theatre Claudio Santoro Symphonic Orchestra).

TUITION & SCHOLARSHIPS

Tuition: $2795

Scholarships available, up to $500

Accepted composers will receive a performance of their orchestral work with the National Theatre Claudio Santoro Symphony Orchestra (Orquestra Sinfônica do Teatro Nacional Claudio Santoro), conducted by Cláudio Cohen.  The concert will take place in Brasília, Brazil. Tuition covers housing, sightseeing tour, and audio/video recording of the concert.
