Köster-Prize 2027

“REALTIME 2027 - INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL FOR CONTEMPORARY / NEW MUSIC BREMEN” is awarding the “Köster-Prize 2027” ” for the third time with prize money of €30,000 for the best innovative performance concept in
the field of new music. Contemporary / new music is exciting, unusual and new - and requires a new artistic implementation. This prize is aimed at all artists who want to artistically implement new music.

Task: Development of a new 60-minute music project with an interdisciplinary and performative aspect. This project must not have been performed yet.

Contents of the submitted project: The music must correspond to the criteria of classical contemporary music. The musical part, newly composed and related to the aspects of new music, must be the focus and amount to more than half of the content. Instruments must be played live at a professional level during the performance.
