Please note, the Arts Council is currently reviewing the way we fund touring and the parameters of this award are set to change. We consider change to be an integral part of our role as the development agency for the arts in Ireland. Changes to our decision-making and policy-making are informed by data provided by the sector.

Recent changes we have made to the scheme:

We have aligned the objectives and priorities of this award more closely to the Arts Council strategy Making Great Art Work;
Applications for tours planned throughout 2025 will be accepted;
We have standardised the mandatory supporting material required for all applicants – some exceptions remain, so please read this guidance carefully;
We have added a new application artform area (MDA / Arts Participation / YPCE). Applicants with a particular focus on Arts Participation or YPCE should select this as their primary artform area;
We have aligned our assessment and decision-making processes to follow Arts Council peer-panel procedure.
