Applications for Dublin Fringe Festival 2026
Dublin Fringe Festival, Ireland’s largest curated multidisciplinary arts festival, has opened applications for its 2026 festival. This year’s curatorial theme, Framework for Joy / Foundation for Resistance, invites artists to explore the
space between protest and play, and to imagine new ways of creating joy, community and defiant artistic expression in challenging times.
Dublin Fringe Festival is seeking bold, boundary-pushing, vital new work across all artforms. This includes theatre, dance, comedy, live art, music, cabaret, drag, installation, digital performance, and interdisciplinary projects. Artists at all experience levels, emerging, mid-career and established, are encouraged to apply.
For 2026, Dublin Fringe Festival is particularly interested in expanding the programme in the following areas: site-specific, visual art, young audiences, circus & aerial, live music, cabaret/drag/club, and interdisciplinary or experimental live art.
If you’re developing something gritty, shimmering, wild, tender, unclassifiable or genre-defying, Dublin Fringe Festival wants to hear from you.
