2nd Edition of the European Composition Competition Unanimes!

The Association Française des Orchestres (French Association of Orchestras) is pleased to announce the launch of the second edition of the Unanimes! European Composition Competition — an initiative dedicated to promoting women composers and and diversity in the symphonic repertoire.

This competition is open to women who are citizens or legal residents of the European Union, with no age limit, and features two categories:

• Symphonic Orchestra – Unanimes! Award: €5,500
• Chamber Orchestra – Unanimes! Award: €4,500

Six finalists will be selected based on their applications. They will then have six months to compose an unpublished work, which will be premiered during the final concert with the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra on October 1, 2026, in Paris.

Applications are open until November 3, 2025.
