Donnacha Dennehy’s new opera, ‘The Last Hotel’, will be performed at the Dublin Theatre Festival
Following its well-received premiere at this year’s Edinburgh International Festival, the opera by Donnacha Dennehy and Enda Walsh will be performed at this year’s Dublin Theatre Festival from 27 September to 3 October at the O’Reilly Theatre.
Produced by Landmark Productions and Wide Open Opera, the opera is conducted by André de Ridder and stars Robin Adams, Claudia Boyle, Katherine Manley and the actor Mikel Murfi, with the Crash Ensemble.
Following the Dublin dates, the opera will be staged at The Royal Opera House, London (Linbury Studio) from 9–17 October, and will receive its American premiere at St. Ann’s Warehouse, New York from 8–17 January 2016.
