The first event in Kirkos' 'Blackout' series takes place on 8 and 9 May
Fri 8 May 2015
Presented by Kirkos Ensemble, Blackout combines music, food and darkness, and takes place between May and July at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Dublin.
On 8 and 9 May, the first concert in the series presents new works by composers Ed Bennett, Roger Doyle, Kevin Volans and Robert Coleman inspired by Messiaen’s iconic Quartet for the End of Time, which is also performed.
The concert is presented in total darkness and begins at 10.30pm each day.
