Irish Composers' Collective Solo Series: Kate Ellis

icc - black&whiteThe Irish Composers' Collective begin their 2013 concert season with a six-month Solo Series that will feature some of Ireland's top contemporary solo performers.

The Solo Series opens with Kate Ellis at the National Concert Hall, 8.30pm on 8 Feb. Kate is the cellist with Crash Ensemble, Yurodny and others, co-director of Crash and curator of be monthly salon series Kaleidoscope Night. She has become internationally renowned as not just an extraordinary performer but as a force for contemporary music. She will be performing seven new works by Irish composers written especially for her.
