Composer Daniel Figgis presents a interactive work in Dublin's City Hall
Fri 25 Jan 2013
Daniel Figgis, whose past works include music based on the spaces of the National Basketball Arena, Marlay Park and Beaconsfield Gallery London, will present his latest large-scale site-specific work in Dublin's City Hall.
A 'celebration' of his native city, the piece will see the public take part in the composition and shaping of the piece. As the audience walks through the unique space that is the Rotunda Hall, they will help determine the piece's form and sound, with the final composition being revealed gradually across three days.
Daniel Figgis' City Hall will take place from 1 – 3 February.
