St Patrick’s College Drumcondra, Artists-in-Residence Fidelio Trio, Call for Scores
The Music Department at St Patrick’s College Drumcondra is seeking submissions from composers for scores written for piano trio (violin, cello, piano) with or without an electronic component. Selected works will be given workshop performances at the Composition Forum taking place at the College on Saturday 8 December. The pieces should not be longer than 5 minutes, although sections or movements from longer works are acceptable. Only works which have not received a public performance should be submitted. Those selected will be workshopped by the internationally acclaimed Fidelio Trio who have recently been appointed as Artists-in-Residence.
While composers of any age and experience are welcome to apply, undergraduate student composers are advised that this would be an ideal opportunity to gain experience towards the intervarsity composition competition (details to be posted later) which will hosted by St Patrick’s College in April 2013 featuring the Fidelio Trio.
Scores and parts in PDF format may be sent to carol.davis@spd.dcu.ie or a hard copy together with contact details may be posted to:
