Medieval composer Leonin inspires Ergodos at the Project
Ergodos presents All the Ends of the Earth at the Project Arts Centre , Saturday, October 29th | 8PM | €15/10
All the Ends of the Earth is a meditation on the allure and beauty of the music of Medieval French composer Léonin. This performance by Ergodos Musicians (featuring vocalists Michelle O’Rourke and Nora Ryan) will capture your imagination and your emotions. The programme features 7 works – contemporary arrangements of Léonin’s original compositions, and new works inspired by their muscular beauty.
All the Ends of the Earth showcases three Irish composers who have found inspiration in the clarity of Léonin’s constructions, and the quality of his simple materials, including Garrett Sholdice, Benedict Schlepper-Connolly and Linda Buckley.
