CMC October new music:new Ireland salon series

The Contemporary Music Centre’s new music::new Ireland salon series continues in the Kevin Barry Room of the National Concert Hall on 19 October 2011.

The new music:new Ireland Salon features Luca Ferrini (piano) and Joze Kotar (clarinet) on tour in Ireland from Slovenia. They will perform David Harold Cox, Derek Ball, Ailis Ni Riain,(left) C. Stephen L. Parker and Eibhlis Farrell. All composers will attend and Ailis Ni Riain will be the narrator on her work, The man made of rain. Luca Ferrini and Joze Kotar also perform 16 October 2011, Sunday at Noon Concert Series, Dublin, Hugh Lane Gallery, 18 October 2011, Dundalk Institute of Technology, Music Department, Dundalk and 19 October 2011 Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, Lunchtime concert, Limerick.

Admission is free for the new music::new Ireland salons. Booking is strongly recommended.
