Robert Houlihan conducts works by May, Potter and Agnew in Havana Cuba.

Support from Culture Ireland has enabled conductor Robert Houlihan to realise his ambition of bringing the works of Irish composers to a Cuban audience. On Monday next, 23 May he will conduct the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Cuba  at 11 am in the Sala Covarrubias del Teatro Nacional de Cuba, Havana, provided the air conditioning is behaving! The Irish maestro, who has championed Irish contemporary music throughout his career, will conduct works by A. J. Potter, Frederick May and Elaine Agnew.
