Irish premiere of Mollification by Philip Martin in Sundays at Noon series.
Sibling duo Joanne and David Quigley originally from Co. Armagh will give the Irish premiere of Philip Martin's Mollification for violin and piano, at the Sundays @ noon concert series in the Dublin City Gallery, Hugh Lane on Sunday the 13th of February. Admission as always is free.
They will also perform works by Beethoven and Elgar. Joanne and David have been performing together since they were children. Their careers have taken them all over the world from Carnegie Hall, New York to the Musikverein in Vienna. Joanne is in constant demand as an orchestral principal and leader throughout the UK and Ireland. She is also on the faculty of the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Queens University, Belfast. David enjoys a very busy concert career performing as concerto soloist and recitalist throughout Europe. David is also a member of the piano faculty at Birmingham Conservatoire and is founder and Director of the Birmingham International Piano Academy, an international summer school and festival. Joanne and David perform regularly in recital as a duo at festivals throughout Ireland, the UK and abroad.
