The culmination of composer Fiona Linnane's year-long project exploring Art Song will be presented in a lunchtime recital at Saint Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick, on Tuesday, 18th November at 1:15 p.m. This concert brings together both her newly composed works and pieces written nearly two decades ago. The programme will include selections from Linnane's award winning Songs from Kate O'Brien (with lyrics by Mary Coll) alongside a world premiere of a song setting of the poetry of Barbara Hickey, grandmother of soprano Eve Stafford.
The recital will feature Eve Stafford (soprano) and Dr. Yonit Kosovske (piano), and will also introduce Chloe Collins (soprano) in her first performance at Saint Mary's.
