NSQF present The Ficino Quartet featuring a new commission by Linda Buckley (TOUR)

The Ficino Quartet: Elaine Clark (violin), Hugh Murray (violin), Nathan Sherman (viola), Yseult Cooper Stockdale (cello).

The Ficino Quartet presents a fascinating programme including: a new commission by Linda BuckleyPhilip Glass’s hugely popular ‘Mishima’, drawn from his 1985 soundtrack to Paul Schrader’s film on the life of author, playwright and latter-day Samurai, Yukio Mishima; and Ravel’s evergreen string quartet from 1903.

Concerts in Dublin and Cork will feature a CMC Composer's Voice event with composer Linda Buckley in conversation with CMC's Jonathan Grimes (Cork) and Evonne Ferguson (Dublin).
