Contemporary Music Centre

The Contemporary Music Centre present OurTunes - A boutique day long contemporary music festival curated by cellist Adrian Mantu for 5 - 10 year olds and their parents and friends complete with worksheets and opportunities to respond to the music performed.
Follow the Water Music from one room to another at the Contemporary Music Centre and try to find and listen to Handel's amazing music especially re-arranged in six different versions for number 19 Fishamble Street, which is located beside the site of the first performance of Handel’s Messiah, performed alongside some of the best 21st Century music! Discover and be intrigued by the electric cellist, the 10 Strings Duo (guitar/violin), the white dancer from Galway, the exotic duo (harp/flute), the jazzy afro-american clarinetist and the Bronte Girls with renowned artists from the RTÉ and Galway Music Residency ConTempo Quartet and young rising stars from RIAM, DIT, Maynooth University, winners of Feis Ceoil and Free Mason Young Musician of the Year Competitions.
Ticket Price: Free admission but ticketed. Booking essential.
