Dundalk Institute of Technology presents MUSICA NOVA on 30 November and 1 December 2011

The semesterly series of contemporary music takes place in the Department of Music and Creative Media at DkIT and features recitals and masterclasses by two of Ireland’s most distinguished performers, harpist and composer Anne-Marie O’Farrell and cellist Kate Ellis.

Admission is free to all events and the programmes include works by Irish composers Derek Ball, David Bremner and Judith Ring, and James Wilson, alongside works by John Cage and Steve Reich.

Musica Nova is supported by An Foras Feasa and the Centre for Research in Music, DkIT.
