A new album of Kevin Volans' chamber music will be launched on 4 October

The album, violin:piano, is released on the Ergodos label and features premiere recordings of three major duos by Kevin Volans from 2009 - violin:piano, Etude 9 for piano and electronics, and viola:piano - as well as his violin solo Passi leggieri, originally composed for Hardanger fiddle in 2003.

The album features violinist/violist Waldo Alexander and pianist Jill Richards, who will both travel from South Africa to perform at a concert at the Pepper Canister Church, Dublin celebrating the launch of the album at 8pm on Sunday 4 October 2015.
