Jennifer Walshe to perform new work in London

Jennifer Walshe

Irish composer Jennifer Walshe is renowned for both her innovative and virtuosic vocal performances utilising extended techniques, and the unusual subject matter and source material of her works. All The Many Peopls is her latest work, built on texts taken from Amazon.com message boards, online memes, conspiracy theories and autocomplete, coupled with recordings from satellites, video games, mobile phone conversations and interstellar phenomena.

All The Many Peopls will form the centre of a concert by Walshe herself in London's King's Place on Monday 4 February. As well as performing her own work, Walshe will perform a selection of Dadaist sound poetry from 1920s Ireland.

For ticketing information, see King's Place website.
