Isabelle O’Connell and Lisa Dowdall play Dennehy, O’Leary and Kinsella at the NCH
New York-based Irish pianist Isabelle O’Connell and violist Lisa Dowdall are playing a concert of works for piano and viola from across the repertoire. Both musicians are known for their dedication to contemporary music, both appearing regularly with the Crash Ensemble. O’Connell also recently performed at the Bang On A Can Marathon.
The concert takes place on 28 July 2012 at 8.30pm at the Kevin Barry Room of the National Concert Hall, and covers works taken from the Romantic and contemporary piano/viola ouevre, including Schumann, Brahms and Donnacha Dennehy.
