DIT Chamber Choir will perform works from CMC’s Choirland publication on 13 April

Following this year’s performance of Messiah on Fishamble Street outside the Contemporary Music Centre on 13 April, there will be a surprise outdoor performance of selected works from CMC’s recent publication Choirland - An Anthology of Irish Choral Music, with the DIT Chamber Choir, conducted by David Brophy. The location for this special performance will be announced just before the Messiah on the Street performance.

Choirland: An Anthology of Irish Choral Music, is a collection of 15 pieces by Irish composers for unaccompanied mixed choir. Published by the Contemporary Music Centre (CMC), the collection has been produced in partnership with the Association of Irish Choirs (AOIC) and the National Chamber Choir of Ireland (NCC) with funding from The Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
